Allesverloren Tinta Barocca-Shiraz 1704 Red Swartland 2015
Description
This powerful red wine from South Africa is made from 70% Shiraz and 30% from the Tinta Barroca grape variety. This is joined by finely spiced oak (eight months of barrel ageing) and hints of vanilla. In the mouth, there are also flavors of blackcurrant and black cherries. The tannins are round and harmoniously integrated. The drinking experience culminates in a great finish with a long aftertaste. John Platter awarded 3 stars for this successful blend of Shiraz and Tinta Barocca.
